How to create an online Live event on Teachify?

You can organize free or paid live events through Teachify.
This article will show you how to set up a live event in the Teachify backend.

How to set up a live event in the Teachify backend?



First, go to the Events section in the Teachify backend and click on New Event.





In the Events backend, fill in the following fields:

The event name is required.
The URL is required: The event comes with a default random URL, but you can change it to your preferred URL.
Event start time and end time are required.
Lecturer: You can have multiple speakers, whom you can select from the list of lecturers in your academy or add directly.
Hosting type: You can choose between using Teachify's default live streaming software or integrating Zoom to open a Zoom live conference room.

Choose "Yes" or "No" to publish the event (if you select "No," the event will not be visible on your website).
You can customize the ticket name, price, and quantity (if you don't set it, it will display "Tickets not yet available" on your webstie).
You can set the price to "0" for a free live event.
You can set the event category and tag list to manage events better when you have many.





Click on Create and you can see the event under the "Events" category on your website. (make sure you clicking "Publish")

After completing the above steps, you have created the live event page and can share it to allow people to sign up for paid or free attendance.
Registered attendees can log in to the backend to access the event when the event starts.
