What are the differences between public access, free redeem, and paid courses? How to set up in the backend?

Teachify offers three different types of courses for creators to choose from: public access, free redeem, and paid courses.

Let's take a look at the differences between them!

【Public Access】
Similar to YouTube videos, everyone with link can access this type of courses for free.

【Free Redeem】
To access these courses for free, students need to register or log in to your Teachify academy.
If your primary goal is to collect leads and not necessarily to generate revenue, this type of course can be used for marketing purposes.

【Paid Courses】
This is pretty straightforward - students must pay to purchase and access the course content.

Where can you set the course type in the Teachify backend?

* If you are creating a course for the first time:

Go to the Teachify dashboard and click on Courses under products section on the left side and click on New Course.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the Course Type section.

* If you want to change the course type for an existing course:

Go to the Teachify dashboard and click on Courses on the left side. Then click on the course you want to modify.

Once you're in the course backend page, click on Course Info on the left side.

Scroll down to the bottom of the course info page to find the Course Type option.

Please note that if you want to publish paid courses, you will need to set up payment methods.
